- Brief summaryThe doppler-guided hemorrhoidal artery ligation is becoming a less painful alternative for hemorrhoidectomy. The costs play a role in the universal adoption of this procedure. In the initial experience the arteries seemed to be localized on standard positions. With ligations on these positions, the doppler could be omitted to decrease the costs and become a valuable alternative for hemorrhoidectomy.
- Main changes (audit trail)Inclusie ging dusdanig langzaam dat techniek inmiddels achterhaald is. The trial was aborted because of an outdated technique.
