- Brief summaryTwo hundred patients who attended the Fertility Clinic of a University Hospital and who underwent three or more IVF or ICSI attempts were recruited and randomized into two groups. Embryos of patients enrolled into one arm of the study were subjected to genetic analysis of the embryos at day three of embryonic development. In the control group, no preimplantation genetic analysis was performed. Two embryos were transferred in both groups on day five.
