- InterventionsAn additional tube of blood is collected during a standard blood test together with clinical information relevant for the study.
- Primary outcomeThe primary outcome of this study is to identify a panel of candidate biomarkers in spinal cord injury pathology.
- Secondary outcomeThe secondary outcome of this study is to characterize the identified candidate biomarkers for their relevance in spinal cord injury pathology.
- TimepointsThe predetermined time points for blood sampling are:
T0: at admission
T1: 3 weeks after injury
T2: 6 weeks after injury
T3: 12 weeks after injury
T4: 18 weeks after injury


Remark: Blood samples are only collected at standard blood tests.

- Brief summaryThe goal of this study is to determine the antibody reactivity profile after spinal cord injury by using serological antigen selection. This will result in a panel of novel candidate antibody biomarkers that will be studied further for their pathogenic, prognostic and/or theranostic potential in spinal cord injury pathology.
