- Type 1 or 2 diabetes mellitus
- Nicotine abusus
- Use of anticoagulant therapy
- Lidocain allergy
- Acute myocardial infarction (3-5 days)
- Unstable angina
- Uncontrolled arrhythmias causing symptoms or hemodynamic instability
- Syncope
- Active endocarditis
- Acute myocarditis or pericarditis
- Symptomatic severe aortic stenosis
