- Interventionsa patient-friendly online (and smartphone) application “BART-online” (i.e. Beating osteoARThritis, in Dutch “Artrose Wijzer©”). The application is aimed at preparation of a first consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon. The main functionalities of the application include:
- Information on OA and treatment modalities, costumed to a stepped-care strategy.
- The option to keep a record of scheduled consultations with health care providers. Patients can answer questions (pre-defined for different health care professionals) to prepare for a consultation and record questions they have for their health care professional.
